    Brief information about the scheme:-

    • Objective:- To increase the income of Scheduled Caste and Neo-Buddhist farmers in the state and to improve their standard of living as well as to make them self-sufficient, under this scheme, grants are given to Scheduled Tribe farmers with an annual income of up to Rs. 1.50 lakh for construction of new wells (Rs. 2,50,000/-), repair of old wells (Rs. 50,000/-), in-well boring (Rs. 20,000/-), electricity connection (Rs. 10,000/-), pump set (Rs. 20,000/-), plastic lining of farm ponds (Rs. 1,00,000/-), sprinkler irrigation set (Rs. 25,000/-), drip irrigation (Rs. 50,000/-). Criteria:- 1. The beneficiary must be a farmer belonging to the Scheduled Caste/Neo-Buddhist category. 2. The farmer must have a caste certificate issued by the competent authority. 3. If the farmer wants to take the benefit of a new well, he must have at least 0.40 hectares of land in his own name and 0.20 hectares of land for other schemes excluding the new well. And there will be a maximum of 6.00 hectares of agricultural land for all the farmers under the scheme. In tribal and remote areas and in isolated areas, if two or more beneficiaries who hold less than 0.40 hectares of land together, if their combined land is 0.40 hectares, then they will be allowed to take the benefit of the scheme if they give a written agreement. Similarly, the condition of holding area of ​​maximum 6 hectares will not apply to beneficiaries below the poverty line. 4. The names of the farmers must have 7/12 certificate of deposit and 8A extract. (Outside Nagar Panchayat, Nagarpalika and Mahanagarpalika areas) 5. The beneficiary must have his own Aadhaar card. 6. The beneficiary must have his own bank account and the said bank account must be linked to the Aadhaar card. 7. The farms that have been allotted land under the Swargiya Karmavir Dadasaheb Gaikwad Empowerment and Swabhiman Yojana should be given priority benefit of this scheme. 8. The annual income of the Scheduled Caste / Neo-Buddhist farmer from all sources should not exceed Rs. 150000/-. 9. The farmer whose annual income from all sources is within the limit of Rs. 1,50,000/-. Such farmers will be required to obtain an updated income certificate for the year 2020-21 from the Tehsildar and submit it along with the application. 10. The recommendation of the Gram Sabha is required to provide benefits to the beneficiary under the scheme. Nature of benefit:- Grant is given for construction of new well (Rs. 2,50,000/-), repair of old well (Rs. 50,000/-), in-well boring (Rs. 20,000/-), electricity connection size (Rs. 10,000/-), pump set (Rs. 20,000/-), plastic lining of farm pond (Rs. 1,00,000/-), frost irrigation set (Rs. 25,000/-), drip irrigation (Rs. 50,000/-).
