Name of the Scheme: Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Rural
Brief information about the scheme:-
- Department- Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

- Government Decision – Restructuring of Indira Awas Yojana into Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin from 1st April 2016.
- Objective – Housing for all by 2022

- Features – Providing the benefit of a hut with basic amenities to the kutcha house homeless families in rural areas. Construction of a hut with a kitchen and toilet is expected in a carpet area of 269 sq. ft. For the construction of a hut, Rs. 1.20 lakhs in general areas and Rs. 1.30 lakhs per beneficiary for Naxal affected / hill beneficiaries is permissible. 60% of the target to be achieved under the scheme is distributed to Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes (SC / ST), Others – 25% and Minorities – 15% categories and it is mandatory to reserve 5% of the total target for the disabled. Funds are distributed to the beneficiaries through AwaasSoft and Public Fun Management System (PFMS) system developed by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. Geo-tagging of the hut construction is done through Awaas App. Rural Mason Training has been planned to be implemented. The interested beneficiary can get Rs. 70,000/- in the form of loan from the bank under the scheme.
- Beneficiary Selection – As per the guidelines issued by the Rural Development and Water Conservation Department, letter PrAio-G-2016 / Pr.No.203 / Yojana-10 dated 01/08/2016, the beneficiaries are selected from the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) prepared by the Gram Samaj on the basis of the Social, Economic and Caste Survey (SECC-2011) information. The beneficiary family should not have taken the benefit of the Gharkul scheme anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.
- Financial Assistance – The ratio of central and state funds is 60:40. The funds are distributed in stages from the state-level bank account of the scheme (State Nodal Account) to the bank/post account of the beneficiaries through AwaasSoft and PFMS system under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme. In addition to the housing subsidy, eligible beneficiaries are provided with an incentive grant of Rs. 12,000/- for construction of toilets under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and 90/95 unskilled man-days of labour under MGNREGA (Normal Rs. 19,000/-).
SCHEME NAME- RAMAI AWAS YOJNA
Brief information about the scheme:-

- Department:- Social Justice and Special Assistance Department.
- Government Decision: – As per the government decision dated 5th November 2008 from the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance, the Gharkul Scheme for Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities was announced in the state. As per the government decision dated 9th March 2010, the actual implementation of the Gharkul Scheme started. As per the government decision dated 19th November 2011, the Gharkul Scheme for Scheduled Castes and Neo-Buddhist communities was named ‘Ramai Awas’.
- Purpose:- Gharkul scheme for Scheduled Castes (SC) and Neo-Buddhist communities in the state.
- Features:- 100% State Sponsored Scheme. As per the Government Decision dated 28th February 2018, out of the target achieved for the years 2017-18 and 2018-19, 25,000 houses are to be constructed for the beneficiaries of the Matang community. Construction of the house with kitchen and toilet is expected in 269 sq. ft. of carpet area. For the construction of the house, Rs. 1.20 lakhs in general areas and Rs. 1.30 lakhs per beneficiary for Naxal affected/hilly beneficiaries is permissible. 3% of the houses in the Scheduled Caste category are reserved for disabled beneficiaries. Funds are distributed to the beneficiaries through the Awaas Soft PFMS system. Geo-tagging of the house construction is done through the Awaas app. This scheme is being implemented on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
- Beneficiary Selection- Social Justice and Special Assistance Department dated 30th September 2016. Beneficiary selection criteria have been fixed as per the government decision. Beneficiaries are selected through Gram Sabha as per the criteria in the government decision. The said list is sent to the District Level Committee for final approval through the Group Development Officer. Beneficiary should be outside the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) under PRIO-GRA and the beneficiary family should not have availed the benefit of Gharkul Yojana anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.
- Financial Assistance: Funds are made available through the Department of Social Justice and Special Assistance. Funds are disbursed in stages from the State Level Bank Account (SNA) to the beneficiary’s bank/post account through Awaas Soft PFMS system under DBT scheme. In addition to the housing subsidy, eligible beneficiaries under Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBM) are provided with an incentive subsidy of Rs. 12,000/- for construction of toilets and 90/95 unskilled man-days of labour under MGNREGA (normally Rs. 19,000/-)
SCHEME NAME – Shabari Awas Yojana
Brief information about the scheme:-
- Department – Tribal Development Department
- Government Decision – Tribal Development As per the government decision dated 28th March 2013, ‘Shabari Awas Yojana’ is being implemented to provide housing to eligible beneficiaries of Scheduled Tribes.
- Objective:- Housing Scheme for Scheduled Tribes (ST) in the state
- Features: – 100% State Sponsored Scheme Construction of a house with kitchen and toilet is expected in 269 sq. ft. carpet area. For construction of a house, Rs. 1.20 lakhs in general area and Rs. 1.30 lakhs per beneficiary for Naxal affected / hilly beneficiaries is permissible. 3% of houses in the Scheduled Tribe category are reserved for disabled beneficiaries. Awaas Soft is distributed to beneficiaries through PFMS system. Geo-tagging of house construction is done through Awaas App. This scheme is being implemented on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.

Under the scheme, the eligible beneficiaries are selected in rural areas through the Gram Sabha as per the criteria in the government decision. The list of such eligible beneficiaries is sent to the district level committee headed by the Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad. The final selection of the Scheduled Tribe beneficiaries selected by the Gram Sabha is done by the Gharkul Nirman Samiti established for rural areas as per the government decision dated 28th March 2013. The beneficiary should be outside the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) under PRIO-GRA and the beneficiary family should not have availed the benefit of Gharkul Yojana anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.

For construction of the house, Rs. 1.20 lakhs in general area and Rs. 1.30 lakhs per beneficiary for Naxal affected / hilly beneficiaries is permissible. 3% of the houses in the Scheduled Tribe category are reserved for disabled beneficiaries. Awaas Soft is distributed to the beneficiaries through PFMS system. Geo-tagging of the house construction is done through Awas App. This scheme is being implemented on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.

SCHEME NAME – YASHWANTRAO CHAVAN FREE SETTLEMENT SCHEME
Brief information about the scheme:-
- Department : V.Ja.B.J., AD. and V.M.Pr. department
- Government Decision: Government decision of Vijayabhaj, IMAAD and Insurance Department dated 24.01.2018 has been implemented in the state.
- Objective: Housing scheme for the community belonging to the category of liberated castes, nomadic tribes.
- Features: 100% State Sponsored Scheme If government land is available under the scheme, a collective scheme is implemented for at least 10 families and a fund of Rs. 44.31 lakh per colony is provided for construction of a house per beneficiary on the lines of Ramai Awas Yojana and for providing civic amenities like water supply, electricity supply, septic tank, sewerage, internal roads etc. to the said colony and beneficiary-wise funds are provided in the same proportion for the next 10 eligible families. Construction of a house with a kitchen and toilet is expected in a carpet area of 269 sq. ft. For construction of a house, Rs. 1.20 lakh is permissible in general areas and Rs. 1.30 lakh per beneficiary for Naxal-affected / hilly beneficiaries. Funds are distributed to beneficiaries through Awaas Soft and PFMS system. Geo-tagging of house construction is done through Awaas App. Individual beneficiaries are provided benefits on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural.
- Beneficiary Selection: Beneficiary selection is done as per the government decision dated 24th January, 2018 by the Insurance, Insurance Welfare Department. The beneficiary should be outside the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) under the Prayo-Gra and the beneficiary family should not have availed the benefit of the Gharkul Scheme anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.
- Financial Assistance: Funds are provided for Yashwantrao Chavan Mukta Vasahat Yojana by the Directorate of Insurance, Insurance Welfare and Insurance Welfare. An amount of Rs. 44.31 lakhs is provided by the department for the settlement of 10 beneficiaries under the scheme. Funds are disbursed in stages from the State Level Bank Account (SNA) to the bank / post account of the beneficiaries through AwaasSoft and PFMS system under the DBT scheme. In addition to the housing subsidy, the eligible beneficiaries under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBM) are given Rs. 12,000/- incentive subsidy for toilet construction and 90/95 unskilled man-days of labour under MGNREGA.
SCHEME NAME- ATAL CONTRIACTION WORKERS HOUSING SCHEME (RURAL)

- Government Decision: Through the Department of Industries, Energy and Labour, the Government Decision dated 14.01.2019, the Atal Bhaka Kamgar Awas Yojana (Rural) was implemented in the state.
- Objective: Housing scheme for registered (active) construction workers in rural areas of the state
- Features: 100% State Sponsored Scheme Construction of a house with a kitchen and toilet in a carpet area of 269 sq. ft. is expected. Under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 1.50 lakh is provided per house. Funds are distributed to the beneficiaries through AwaasSoft and PFMS system. Geo-tagging of house construction is done through Awaas App. This scheme is being implemented on the lines of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin.
- Beneficiary Selection: A District Level Beneficiary Selection Committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Labour Commissioner to scrutinize the applications made under Atal Construction Workers Housing Scheme (Gramin) for Construction Workers registered (active) with Maharashtra Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board. Taluka wise list of beneficiaries is made available to Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad through the department. Beneficiary should be outside the Permanent Waiting List (PWL) under Prayo-Gra and the beneficiary family should not have availed the benefit of Gharkul Scheme anywhere in the state of Maharashtra.
- Financial Assistance: Funds are provided for Atal Construction Housing Scheme through the Department of Industries, Energy and Labour. Funds are disbursed in stages through AwaasSoft and PFMS system to the beneficiaries’ bank/post accounts from the State Level Bank Account (SNA) under the DBT scheme.
SCHEME NAME – PARDHI HOUSING SCHEME
Brief information about the scheme:-

- Government Decision: As per the Government Decision dated 27th May 2016 from the Tribal Development Department, the houses approved under the ‘Pardhi Development Programme’ are being constructed as per the criteria of ‘Shabari Tribal House Scheme’.
- Objective: Gharkul scheme for the Pardhi community in the state.
- Features: 100% State Sponsored Scheme Construction of the house with kitchen and toilet is expected in 269 sq. ft. carpet area. For construction of the house, Rs. 1.20 lakhs in general area and Rs. 1.30 lakhs per beneficiary for Naxal affected / hilly beneficiaries is permissible. 3% of the houses in the Scheduled Tribe category are reserved for disabled beneficiaries. Awaas Soft is distributed to the beneficiaries through PFMS system.
